The Massachusetts Department of Public Health

The Massachusetts Department of Public Health conducts an annual survey of all Skilled Nursing Facilities in the state, and SNRC was found to be one of the very few that came through with a Deficiency-Free rating.

The Joint Commission on the Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO)

Shrewsbury Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is pleased to announce that it has earned the prestigious Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of National Quality Approval for Nursing Care Center Accreditation. In December 2015, SNRC underwent a rigorous on-site Joint Commission survey that consisted of an expert surveyor evaluating compliance with nursing care standards, safety, coordination of care, staff education and training and environmental standards.

We continue to sit for JCAHO’s bi-annual review which took place in August of 2018 and for which SNRC again received full JCAHO accreditation.

We commend the staff and leadership team for its ongoing efforts to provide exceptional Resident care and positive outcomes earning recognition for a deficiency free survey from the Joint Commission, the premier health care quality improvement and accrediting body in the nation.
