Shrewsbury Nursing and Rehabilitation Center (SNRC) – Medical Services with an Individual Touch

For over 40 years providing comprehensive long term care, SNRC medical services excel in the areas of short term rehabilitation, long term care, hospice care, respite care and many other facets of skilled nursing home care such as restorative nursing.

The SNRC approach is interdisciplinary, which means that every special need of every resident is met by a custom-designed team offering individualized care planning in such areas as nutrition, socialization, recreation, physical therapy, occupational and speech therapies. Other medical needs include IV therapy, wound management, medication management as well as in-house services like vision care, dentistry, podiatry, audiology and optometry.

Over the last three years the Performance Survey for Nursing Homes, conducted by the Executive Office of Health and Human Services of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, has concluded that the Shrewsbury Nursing and Rehabilitation Center has met 126 out of 132 critical requirements in the categories of administration, nursing, resident rights, kitchen/food services and environment.  The statewide average facility score is 121. The SNRC score of 126 ranks the Center in the top 30% of all facilities in Massachusetts.

Medicare Nursing Home Inspection Rating -
Shrewsbury Nursing and Rehabilitation Center was rated 4 stars out of 5 by the Medicare Nursing Home Inspection. Rating is a combination of a health inspection rating, a staffing rating and a quality measures rating.  Analysis was conducted on these three data sources and each of these ratings were combined into the overall rating. The average rating of nursing centers within a 10-mile radius of Shrewsbury is three stars.
